Every February, this festival kickstarts our year of festival travel, and it’s not just its date, importance and size: the Berlinale has always been a special place for us. It was here that, in 2009, Eventival officially saw the light of day; where we introduced its name, logo and concept - in Adrian’s words - of “putting technology where it belongs, that is behind you”, where nearly fifty festival directors’ enthusiastic reception of our burgeoning creation showed how ready the festival world was to take a leap towards professionalising its infrastructure. Ever since then, Eventival has been back to Berlin - bigger, stronger, more self-confident, and always grateful to all those who joined its community along the way, making their trust the fuel of our vision.
We - Tomas, Ales, Dodo and newly also Jana - will be in Berlin from Monday 6 till Saturday 18 February, at or around our usual meeting place, the Creative Europe stand in the MGB.
