Eventival Integrations

Most systems can be integrated with Eventival using our API. Some of the custom-built integrations are below.

Eventival API

The Eventival API is open (public) so that the software developers working for our clients can freely use it to integrate Eventival with a range of third-party software services (box office platforms, VOD platforms, mobile apps, one-to-one meeting platforms, etc.).

Eventival API

The recently published preview (version 1.) of the new Eventival API (application programming interface) includes some read-only endpoints in the beginning that will, amongst other things, allow our users to publish their festival catalogue with film data to the website. While we are calling it a 'preview', it will not change significantly in any backward-incompatible ways. Based on our clients' feedback, it will be expanded in the coming weeks and months.

Our clients are free to mix it with the old API, all the identifiers are interchangeable, and the old API will be kept alive for years to come.

Film Industry Databases

There are countless film databases in world, either created by fans for fun or by professionals for searching and referencing information by film industry professionals, journalists or film lovers.
Film festivals, Eventival's primary clientele, need a lot of data when planning and producing their events, and an integration between Eventival and Cinando, the online database for film professionals is great help that saves a lot of time and energy.

Cinando

Cinando

Cinando, by Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes, is the premier network offering film professionals tools to navigate the film industry: contacts, films, projects in development, market screening schedules, market attendees, screeners.
The unique integration between Eventival and Cinando gives Eventival users an opportunity to access the Cinando database and the ability to easily import people’s contacts and film profiles to grow and update their own databases.

Ticketing Platforms

Once you are using Eventival to collect, select, translate and proofread your film data, integrating it with your ticketing system is a natural next step. Eventival-ticketing integration means that instead of copy & pasting the data from Eventival into the ticketing system, it can be sent there in a short automated process.

Some festivals cannot do this because they are bound to use the legacy ticketing. However, many already use good ticketing platforms, or think about doing so. Below you will find a hopefully constantly growing list of platforms integrated to a varying extent with Eventival.

Eventive

Eventive

Eventive, a widely used platform integrating ticketing, pass management, scheduling, and audience data, has been integrated with Eventival since 2019.

Ticketack

Ticketack

Ticketack is a Swiss ticketing solution used by festivals, cinemas and concert venues, including all five Eventival-powered film festivals in Switzerland. The integration includes Eventival accreditations interoperability, synchronisation with Back Office and payment through Ticketack's payment system, Proxypay.

There are several services that simplify the way in which the audiovisual content gets to its destination.

Cinando Video Library

Vimeo

Thanks to our new integration with Vimeo, your submitters can upload audiovisual content directly on your Visitor Page submission form and the videos will be stored in your Vimeo storage space.

Shift72

We integrated Eventival Back Office with Shift72 already in the summer of 2020 when the pandemic made film festivals around the world explore online or hybrid formats. We are currently discussing with Festival Scope and Shift72 how the integration can be made even more useful and smooth.

Projektor

Such features not only create a more compelling storytelling experience, but also allows the filmmaker to increase the value of both EST and VOD in addition to unlocking new monetization streams.

Pantaflix

Pantaflix

Matchmaking Platforms

B.square

To help our festivals that need to manage their one-to-one private meetings in a non-traditional way, b.square now offers a new video meeting function (powered by Jitsi, https://jitsi.org) letting the participants create, accept or decline meeting requests and set their availability as usual. Once the final agendas are published, meetings can take place in a dedicated virtual room, easily accessible with one click directly from the platform.
