Eventival has partnerships with several other companies and is integrated with many other platforms and services, such as film industry database, film submission platforms, ticketing systems, one-to-one meeting platforms, mobile apps, mailing systems or payments gateways.
There are countless film databases in world, either created by fans for fun or by professionals for searching and referencing information by film industry professionals, journalists or film lovers.
Film festivals, Eventival's primary clientele, need a lot of data when planning and producing their events, and an integration between Eventival and Cinando, the online database for film professionals is great help that saves a lot of time and energy.
Cinando, by Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes, is the premier network offering film professionals tools to navigate the film industry: contacts, films, projects in development, market screening schedules, market attendees, screeners.
The unique integration between Eventival and Cinando gives Eventival users an opportunity to access the Cinando database and the ability to easily import people’s contacts and film profiles to grow and update their own databases.
The goal of the integration is to let film festivals using both Eventival and one of the film submission platforms integrated with Eventival easily transfer the films collected through the film submission platform into Eventival where they are further processed (confirmed, edited, programmed and forwarded to the website and printed media).
Film submission platforms can be integrated with Eventival in two ways: one doesn't require almost any programming on the side of the film submission platform because the submitted films go straight into Eventival, and the other one does require some programming but offers the festival a lot more flexibility in that it lets it use more features of the platform. You are welcome to contact us for the details of the integration.
We have linked Eventival with Festhome, a film submission portal mostly used in Latin America, for automated import of films.
Aiming to further simplify the way festivals work with the film entries they collect, we have teamed up with FilmFestivalLife, one of the world’s most popular online film submission platforms used by nearly 400 film festivals around the world.
All data from films submitted via the French submission platform Docfilmdepot will soon be exportable into Eventival in a few clicks.
Movibeta submission platform has been serving filmmakers and festivals since 2009, and is known and used by over 700 feature and short film festivals, mostly in Spain, Italy and Latin America.
Movibeta’s service is free for film festivals and the platform is available in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese and Greek.
Once you are using Eventival to collect, select, translate and proofread your film data, integrating it with your ticketing system is a natural next step. Eventival-ticketing integration means that instead of copy & pasting the data from Eventival into the ticketing system, it can be sent there in a short automated process. Some festivals cannot do this because they are bound to use the legacy ticketing. However, many already use good ticketing platforms, or think about doing so. Below you will find a hopefully constantly growing list of platforms integrated to a varying extent with Eventival.
We have teamed up with Perfect System and created a seamless integration between Eventival and Perfect System’s Colosseum ticketing software. The connection with Colosseum will enhance the existing accreditation, membership and schedule planning modules in Eventival, while Colosseum’s greater flexibility will be good news for organizers struggling with the limitations of most regular ticketing systems. We are also hoping to open new possibilities for the organisers of cultural and social events facing the challenge of serving a mix of professional attendees and ticket purchasing audiences.
Eventive integrates ticketing, pass management, scheduling, and audience data onto a single intelligent platform. Eventive will help you fill more seats by enabling passholder ticket reservations, handling promotional emails and delivering marketing data. Eventive will even enhance the festival experience with an online film guide, easier check-ins and shorter lines. Everything – even the pricing – is designed to help you put more back into your programs.
There are several services that simplify the way in which the audiovisual content gets to its destination.
Cinando Video Library (VL) is an online B2B digital solution for Festivals and Film Institutions.
The word’s leading encoding, storage and delivery platform based in Toronto that producers and distributors use to securely archive and send movies to festivals anywhere in the word. Our collaboration is bound to further simplify festivals operations when reviewing submissions and managing DCP delivery and screenings.
Thanks to our new integration with Vimeo, your submitters can upload audiovisual content directly on your Visitor Page submission form and the videos will be stored in your Vimeo storage space.
Over the years, several mobile applications have been developed that communicated with Eventival. To ensure the best possible experience for the mobile app users, two mobile apps have been integrated with Eventival more in-depth: the App4Fest, and the Eventival Mobile App, the result of an ongoing collaboration between Skeleton Software and Eventival.
A mobile app fully integrated with Eventival is here thanks to the collaboration with Skeleton Software. Participants of your festival can browse through the festival programme, check out the film details and venue locations and create their own screening schedule. On top of that, your guests will appreciate being able to browse through their personal itineraries, accompanying events or the Who is Here.
App4Fest is a tool for communication with festival visitors, providing them with the event's schedule in a detailed, easy-to-use layout and the possibility to create their own personalised programmes. App4Fest is developed by Ackee. The integration between App4Fest and Eventival allows the synchronization of data between Eventival and the app, such as the festival screening and events schedule, information about films and participants.

A part of the basic Eventival package is a simple built-in mass (bulk) email system. It’s free of charge and our clients use it to send nearly 200,000 both automated “system emails” and press releases, newsletters and other mass emails per month. Eventival mass email system uses a dedicated SMTP server with a fixed IP address shared by all its clients. Before use, it has to be set to avoid the messages processed by it be labeled as spam.
While functional and reliable, this built-in mass email system does not have some of the features of paid systems hosted by companies whose only purpose is to provide this specific type of service (e.g. the statistics of opening emails). To give our clients an opportunity to benefit from these special features, Eventival is integrated it with some of these systems.
If you decide to use one of them instead of the Eventival mail server, you will have set an account with the company you select, make sure its service is ready to work, and set up the selected system as your mailing system in Eventival Setup.
Payment gateways are merchant services provided by e-commerce application service providers that authorize credit card or direct payments processing for e-businesses, online retailers, bricks and clicks, or traditional brick and mortar businesses. They are the virtual equivalents of a physical point of sale terminal located in most retail outlets.
The following payment gateways can be used to process payments in Eventival.

Right at the start of Eventival, we were lucky to begin working with some great companies whose products or services we have been using still today.
Firefly is a branding agency and design studio with offices in New York City and Prague.
Tomas's and Dawna's friend, the unique visual artist and renowned graphic designer Jiwon Shin, already worked with Tomas when creating the logo of DataKal several years before Eventival started. In January 2009, hes studio created the logo of Eventival (http://fireflybranding.com/eventival) that has, by now, become known around the world.
Pro-idea is a Czech graphic design studio founded by Sergey Petukhov and Lubos Beranek around the time when Eventival moved from Fontainebleau to Prague. Eventival may have been their largest projects in 2009; Pro-Idea has since grown a lot and the two companies have been working together ever since.
Pro-Idea is responsible for the look of the Eventival Back Office, Eventival Visitor Page, Eventival Account, Eventival website as well as the websites of several clients or Eventival.
