Why should we get the Eventival Mobile App?
Festival mobile apps have become common because most festival audiences and guests don’t run around with a laptop in their backpack but rather smart phones in their pockets, and you want them to stay informed about what’s going on as comfortably as possible.
Like most festival apps, the Eventival App will let the people who come to the festival for fun see the festival map, browse the schedule, see the details of the films, and create their own programme.
However, on top of it, it will let the professional festival goers use the features they already know from the Eventival Visitor Page - thus, the invited guests will be able to check their arrival / departure times, their transfer details, and their hotel, the accredited people will see their badge with relevant information, all authorised visitors will be able to check the Who is Here, etc.
Can we change the look of the app?
Yes, and you will be able to do that in the content management system (CMS) of the app to which you will receive login details once you have made an order. In a simple configurator, you will be able to set, step by step, all necessary parameters in order for you to create the testing packages and later publish the app.
How can we rename the app?
We call it the Eventival App, but you can of course select a name that will fit your festival. You can do that in the CMS - the app will appear under the name you will choose for it in the app stores.
Can we use the app in our language?
Yes - a part of issuing the licence will be the agreement on the language options of the app. If you will need to use a language in which the app hadn’t previously been used, we will let you add the missing words in the dictionary of the CMS. You will also be able to modify the words in the already existing dictionaries.
Will all film and event data be entered or modified in Eventival?
Any changes you will make in Eventival are saved in an XML file which is then sent to the server which transfers this information to the app. The data is updated in defined intervals which means that their modifications will be visible in the app shortly and there is no need to issue a new app.
What is the validity of the licence?
The licence to use the app is for one edition of the festival. If you want to use the app again next year, you will have to renew the licence.
How does it work with the VAT?
Like Eventival, Skeleton is a limited company with a seat in the European Union, so the VAT rules when paying Skeleton’s invoices will be the same: in principle, a invoicing between Skeleton and Czech or EU companies registered to the VAT will be easy (VAT will not have to be paid as long as there will be the company’s VAT number on the invoice), while the invoices issued to Czech or EU companies that are not registered to VAT will have to be increased by 21% so that Skeleton receives the net amount. Outside the EU, VAT does not apply.
